hello. It's late but after an exam and fought to find the good link to post a message, here we are... So, let me show you some summaries about the documents I posted yesterday. I quote the title of each document in order to help you during the reading...

"« La Notion de Genre »

This text deals with the « Concept Gender » that is to say the idea that men and women have about the classification of the society. This text explains what made the differences between the role of men and women ; for example it is said that taks were shared according to bological and social categories.
According to the author, the Gender Concept is an allocation of rules created to developp our actual society.

In this document, we also discover the origin of the “Gender Concept” the period of its arrival in France and the incertainties provoked in the French society.


“La violence fAites aux femmes”

This document is extratc from an article published by the W.H.O.
In a first time,, it reveals the different violences women are put with and its consequences. We learn that a lot of women do not denounce abuses they had suffered because of their scare and also the luck of consideration.
In a second time, it shows that some efforts are made to try to stop this phenomenon to put men and women at the same place.


· “Le réseau”

· This document brings to the reader a quiet good summary of what is the “Gender Concept” from its genesis to nowdays.
· As in the first document, we learn about the origin of the “gender Concept”, the different analysis made by the author about tue evolution brought to the general opinion. According to him, this will allow a new construction of a modern society in which men and women would play the same role. Contrary to the others documents, we have more details about the different investigations made in the past more particularly the details used for it, and a gradutation to what it is nowdays.
· He also insists on the fact that big progresses have been made for women ; access to education is easier than before even if in some countries this does not have the same impact than in europe for example.
· The document underlines the fact that everyone and every society has his own point of view on the matter and that it changes with time. The “Gender Concept” seems to correct the gaps.

· To conclude and still according to the author, this concept would bring a new stability in the world.

· “Chiffres des violences faites aux femmes”
·
· Here are statistics published by the INSE in 2007 concerning victims of violences. The tables show the evolution according to investigations which took place in the 2000 years.
